New 2 U Clothing Sale - Update

This year we will not be having our New 2 U Clothing Sale as in the past.  We will still be taking the clothing to Savers in 

September that has already been donated.   If you have some items you were waiting to donate, bring them in and they 

will be included.  NOTE:  Please be sure they are bagged and not boxed.

• 380 Pencils (308 – Reg; 72 Mechanical)

• 12 Permanent Markers

• 26 Backpacks (21 – Middle/High School; 5 – Elementary)

50 – Hygiene kits (25 male, 25 female) including 

Toothpaste, Toothbrush with cover, Antiperspirant/Deodorant, Body Wipes, Hairbrush and Comb. (Female – Hair Ties,

Shampoo/Conditioner and Body Wash) (Male- 3in1 Bodywash/Shampoo/Conditioner)

Thank you to everyone that donated money, supplies, and helped to carry, sort, assemble and load.

All items were delivered to the school counselors on Wednesday August 28.

Back to School Drive Mission Project info

School Supply/Hygiene Kit Drive in full swing.  Hygiene items ordered from Amazon and Dollar Tree.  $788 has been raised.  Extra will be used for school supplies. 

Church Website

Sylvia M has been very busy working on our church website. Changes made are as follows:

• Tab for the weekly newsletter.  Previous newsletters are available as well there. 

• A link to request prayers.  The link sends an e-mail to Pastor Jerry's church e-mail account -  Pastor@Pastor@LivoniaNYPres.Org. 

• Under the tab About Us there is now an option for the Memorial Windows with the poem written by Cindy W's grandmother about the windows along with photos. 

• An updated history of the church.  Several interesting facts about our church have been included there.  See if you've heard some of the stories.

• • 1. • The Car Cruise and Chicken BBQ were a grand success!  There were approximately 30 cars in attendance and we made $1,695.

• The elementary school is providing supplies to the students, but would like personal hygiene kits. The middle/high school requested a few supply items (listed below) and items for hygiene kits and bags to put items in.  (50 kits - 25 male, 25 female). This year we have decided to purchase the hygiene kit items in bulk for efficiency and consistency. Each kit costs approximately $14 to fill.  We are asking for cash donations towards this; a total of $700. We would appreciate monies by August 11th with the plan to assemble kits on August 25th.   Any questions, please see Lori.

Classic Car Show & BBQ:

• Thanks for all the help from everyone this weekend!  The weather cooperated and the rain went around us, praise the Lord. 

• Approximately 30 cars attended for the Classic Car Show.  

• Everyone seemed to enjoy the music of steel drums. 

• The Chicken BBQ was SOLDOUT!   All 250 dinners.
